Bell Teachers Celebrated at CPS Board Meeting

8/29/2019

Picture

Kudos to Peter Barash, 7th/8th Social Studies teacher and Shana Pearlmutter, Art teacher, for their leadership in civic engagement. Peter and Shana won the Obama Foundation Award for Leadership in Civic Education, and they were recognized for their achievements at the August Chicago Public School Board of Education meeting. Their work on the Bell Legacy Project teaches our students that they can change the world as engaged, global citizens.
