Principal's MessageAlexander Graham Bell School provides a one of a kind educational experience for students offering activities in and out of the classroom which support the whole child. Nestled in the Northcenter neighborhood of Chicago, Bell serves almost 1,000 students who attend in one of our three distinct programs: the Neighborhood Program, Regional Gifted Center, or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. While we have three programs in our building, we function as one school and work very hard to provide an inclusive experience for our students.
Bell is a place where children can nourish their sense of curiosity about the world. We focus not only on academics, but on social and emotional development. We want our students to have a sense of purpose and belonging, to plan and set goals, to learn to work well with others, and to persevere. Most importantly, we want our students to develop their own individual talents to the best of their abilities in a kind, safe and supportive environment. Bell has a stellar teaching staff who provide the support needed to grow our students to be global citizens, ambassadors of the arts, and unique individuals with a clear sense of identity. My door is always open, and I look forward to partnering with parents and community members to support Bell School. Katie Milller, Principal |
