Arrival and Dismissal

​All Bell students start school at 8:05 a.m. and finish at 3:05 p.m.

Arrival Procedures

​Regular Entry

• KG, 1st and 2nd - Door 10
• 3rd. 4th, and DHH PK-6th - Door 1
• 5th and 6th - Door 3
• 7th and 8th - Door 4

Inclement Weather Entry

• KG, 1st and 2nd - Door 10
• Second Floor Homerooms (except 1st and 2nd) - Door 2
• 5th and 6th - Door 2
• 7th and 8th - Door 4

Please note: Items dropped off for students in the main office will be placed in the teacher's mailbox. We will not deliver items to classrooms. Parents who have an appointment to meet with a teacher for official school business should sign in at the security desk to get a visitor's pass and report to the main office. 

Dismissal Procedures

K to 3 Students
K-3 students will be handed off 1:1 to parents or designees at assigned exterior locations near their designated dismissal door.

4 to 8 Students
Students in grades 4-8 will be dismissed by their homeroom teacher at their designated doors.

After School Program Participants

Please note the main office will close at 3:30 p.m. daily. An administrator or security officer will be on site to assist with dismissal of students on days when there are scheduled after school programs such as Girl Scouts, Fine Arts, Clubs or Athletics.

K-2 students attending after school programs will be picked up from their homerooms by an adult and delivered to their after school program supervisors. Students remaining in the building beyond 3:30 p.m. are to be signed in at their designated after school program or location. Students cannot remain in the building unsupervised.

Parents picking up students in the 21st Century Kids program are asked to use the Main entrance (Door #1) for pick-up.
