Artsonia

​Artsonia.com​ is the home for Bell’s internet art gallery that showcases our children’s artwork. This project is solely run by a handful of Bell parent volunteers and is entering its 5th year. 

Through this website, the kids can see their/their peer’s artwork on the internet. They can also share their art with grandparents, relatives, and friends via their “fan club” feature. Parents can also photograph and upload any additional artwork made at home.  Artwork uploaded from home will be in your child’s personal gallery on Artsonia, but will not appear in the Artsonia-Bell Gallery.
 
You can also order many items containing your child’s artwork through Artsonia’s gift shop----like note cards or coffee mugs. They make GREAT personalized gifts for kids to give to their family. In turn, Bell School receives 20% from the sale of these items (we received $638.23 for the 2014-15 school year).

Long-term benefits to Artsonia participation:
In addition to fostering your child’s sense of pride in displaying their artwork, the long term benefit to your child’s participation in Artsonia comes in their 8th grade year. When their time at Bell is complete in 8th grade, you can order a wonderful hardbound portfolio which can capture each item of artwork they did at Bell through the years, all in one beautiful keepsake book that you can look back on for years to come! 

Volume, volume, VOLUME!
Bell generates a lot of artwork.  Last year alone, we photographed/scanned 2,024 pieces of art. It takes about 2 hours to take 25 pieces from start to finish-------that’s about 162 volunteer hours!

Call for Volunteers
If anyone would like to volunteer to help keep this program going, please contact Lindsey Bartholomew​. We need help with prepping log sheets, photographing, scanning, editing and uploading of artwork.  Many of these can be done at the school, but the work can also be done at your home.  Any help is greatly needed and appreciated!
